For the most part, I only take one appointment per day for larger scale work and I charge $800 for this time. Those appointments are scheduled 12-5 but may go as late as 6 pm, allowing us time to change your design in person if needed and still have plenty of time to ink the piece. For smaller pieces that won’t take a half day, I charge $200/hr. I require a $200 deposit to book. This will be applied to the cost of your tattoo.
As a shop owner with a family, I find this approach helps me give the exceptional client experience I want to give while leaving time for my family and my shop fam. Keep in mind that as a highly experienced tattoo artist, I work quickly and efficiently, usually able to get done in this block of time what takes many tattooers a full day or more. If you’re on my calendar for one of these sessions, you’ll be my sole tattoo client for the day and get my full attention and creative energy.
My rates are based on my industry experience and the effort I’ve put into honing processes to help make great tattoos every time. Charging this amount also covers the costs for me to use the best-of-the-best inks and equipment and to provide an all-in-one experience. All said and done, this is art that will be on your body for life. When you invest in a tattoo from me, you’ll love it for life.
